Coney Island Plagued With Excessive Sand Being Blown onto Boardwalk

An unprecedented amount of sand is being blown onto the boardwalk in Coney Island, business owners say to the point where it’s hard to distinguish it from the beach. Preservationists place the blame on new cement planks which replaced the old wooden ones which prevent sand from falling through.
