A coalition of community groups and unions have filed a lawsuit in an attempt to stop construction at City Point in Downtown Brooklyn on charges that construction workers are being paid poverty-level wages. The groups demand that a study be carried out to determine the socioeconomic impact of the workers’ low wages on the surrounding neighborhood.
