Daniel Goldstein and his family are now the only residents fighting eviction from the Atlantic Yards site after seven other families agreed to leave by next month. Atlantic Yards was the target of protests and lawsuits since the developer Bruce C. Ratner proposed it more than four years ago. Some local residents opposed the project because it would overwhelm the neighborhood, flooding it with new residents and heavy traffic. They also opposed the government’s use of eminent domain to condemn property on behalf of a private developer.
