On the second day of a murder trial, Demetrius Nathaniel testified in Brooklyn today that he saw his cousin, Keith Phoenix, hit Jose Sucuzhanay with a bat multiple times, including a blow to head. When Phoenix dropped him off at his house in The Bronx, Phoenix asked his Nathaniel to keep the events of that morning hush, hush.
“He told me don’t say anything.,” Nathaniel testified, “everything will be alright.”
