Federal Judge John Gleeson sentenced Brooklynite Betim Kaziu to 27 years in prison for conspiring to kill American soldiers abroad. The 24-year-old attempted to link up with overseas terrorist groups affiliated with Al Qaeda, but authorities took him into custody before he could leave the United States.
