A police officer fired 13 times and shot a man in both his legs Sunday night when they responded to a call and he opened the door with a machete in hand. The shots came after the man did not respond to pepper spray. Police were responding to a call from the man’s daughter, the New York Times reports. Our reporter Danielle Bengsch is on the scene.
