On Friday, Shantaya Lewis, 17, and her cousin Shakeena Grant, 15, were provoked into a fight and stabbed by a girl who is now dating Shakeena’s ex-boyfriend, the Daily News reports. The exact details about the incident in Crown Heights remain unclear and the suspect has not been arrested. Both girls have been released from the hospital but Shantaya will bear a large V-shaped scar across the left side of her face for years to come.
