Downtown Brooklyn is set to get a facelift, with a parking lot set to be turned into an art-themed park, reports the Daily News. The man with the plan is Michael Burke of the Court-Livingston-Schermerhorn Business Improvement District, who said that the idea is to make downtown more attractive for investment. Boring walls will be covered up with artworks and tables and chairs will be put out for people to enjoy spring. Two new pedestrain plazas and a bikelane are also in the works. The Daily News expects the park to look something like this:
