The remains of a 25-year-old Brooklyn woman who disappeared after leaving a Chelsea night club in 2008 were discovered in a wooded area outside Scranton, Pa. Laura Garza was last seen on Dec. 3, 2008 as she left the club with Michael Mele, 24, a convicted sex offender. Mele remains the main suspect in the case and is currently serving a parole violation in a correctional facility in New York State for an unrelated case. More at the Times.
