Just a year after joining a union, staffers at KIPP AMP Academy Charter School in Crown Heights voted to rescind the decision to sign up with the United Federation of Teachers, the Times reports. The petition to break from the union was filed last week with signatures from 16 staff members, including a dean of the school as well as several teachers.
The union is planning to fight the decision with the Public Employment Relations Board.
