In March, Shamduh Wilson, 23, was convicted of first-degree manslaughter by a Brooklyn jury and sentenced to 38 years in prison. A month earlier, Wilson was reportedly trying to shoot a man who allegedly attacked his girlfriend, but instead killed an innocent bystander who was standing in a bodega.

But…the case is not over!

“Now Wilson is being tried for charges of solicitation and conspiracy in the 2nd degree. Yesterday, the jury heard a tape of him speaking to a confidential informant and an undercover cop, while in jail. To prevent a witness from testifying against him in court, he was allegedly arranging a plan to have the man killed,” The Ink’s Yaffi Spodek reported from court this morning. Yaffi will be delivering updates from throughout the day, until a verdict is handed down this afternoon.
