The jury charged with deciding the fate of Keith Phoenix submitted five requests for information, known as notes, to Judge Patricia Dimango. The jury asked for clarification on the exact definition of a hate crime, and also asked for a re-reading of testimony from the medical examiner. The court reporter read a transcript of Dr. Michael Greenberg’s testimony from April 23.
