Boerum Hill Church Damaged in Blaze

A three-alarm fire tore through an historic church in the Boerum Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn last night, causing four firefighters to be injured in the process of putting it out. A group was holding a bible study st the Baptist Temple Church when they heard a fire alarm and were able to escape, the pastor said. The fire was extinguished at about 1:30 p.m.
