John (Sonny) Franzese, 93, was convicted by a Brooklyn judge yesterday of racketeering and “shaking down” several strip clubs during his organized crime days. His son, John Franzese, Jr., testified against his father in court. The senor Franzese faces 20 years in prison. “It’s hard to understand how a jury, all of whom have families, would tolerate a son setting up his father, essentially sending him to death behind bars,” Michael Franzese, Sonny’s stepson, told the Daily News. “To see him go down like this and have to die in prison is devastating for him and for those who love him,” he said
