Miladin Kovacevic pleaded guilty yesterday to charges relating to the beating of Brooklyn resident and fellow BU student Brian Steinhauer in May 2008. He was sentenced to 27 months in jail, according to the Daily News. Kovacevic, a former basketball player, fled to his native Serbia after charges were filed and strained relations between Serbia and the United States.
