An NYPD helicopter circling for surveillance as Air Force One landed at JFK Airport made an emergency landing in Wednesday in Jamaica Bay, off the coast of Brooklyn, according to the Daily News. The helicopter was supposed to land about 30 yards away at their airport, Floyd Bennett Field, refuel, then escort President Obama to the Wall Street heliport. The six police officers on board were treated and released from Lutheran Medical Center.
