An update from our earlier report: Assistant District Attorney, Mark Hale, addressed the jury this afternoon, The Brooklyn Ink‘s Evan MacDonald reports. Hale described Tiana Browne as a troubled teenager and said her actions showed the organized thoughts of someone who was trying to escape blame. He also called into question the validity of her claims that she was sexually assaulted — details that are central to the defense’s assertion that she suffered from post traumatic stress syndrome. Judge Albert Tomei called for a lunch recess. The trial is resuming at 3:00pm today.
