High-end retailer Barney’s Co-op will opening its first Brooklyn store in Cobble Hill today, reports the New York Post. The outlet chain, sibling of national retailer Barneys of New York, will occupy a two-story space on Atlantic Avenue, joining upscale fashion chains like Jonathan Adler and Urban Outfitters. “The Co-op has always had a certain edgy sensibility,” said Barneys New York Creative Director Simon Doonan. “The fit with Brooklyn is a natural one,” he said. Designers include Rag & Bone, Carven and Opening Ceremony.
