Jury members are deliberating today on the case of John Katehis, who is on trial in Brooklyn, where he stands accused of killing a man he met through Cragislist, according to the NY Post.
The victim, George Weber, was a WABC newsman. Katehis, who was 16 at the time, allegedly stabbed Weber 50 times after they drank and did cocaine. Katehis’ lawyer said Weber targeted “underage, money-desperate youth” and that Weber wanted to be smothered. Read our previous coverage of this case here.
