Bill Clinton endorsed gubernatorial candidate Andrew Cuomo at a rally that just wrapped up at the New York City College of Technology in Downtown Brooklyn, reports the Ink´s Camilo Smith.  Saying that Cuomo has the “vision to make New York a state of the future” Clinton rallied Cuomo supporters and asked them to head to the polls on Tuesday.

In a Siena College survey released Monday, Cuomo leads Republican contender Carl Paladino by a virtually unsurmountable margin, garnering 63% of voting intent, while Paladino gets 26%.

In front of  a packed gym, Cuomo, who served as Clinton´s Secretary of Housing and Urban Development from 1997 to 2001, thanked his former employer for his support. “I haven´t worked as hard” he jokingly told the ex-President, “as when I worked for you, boss.”
