The three-year conversion of the McCarren Park pool, a former public school abandoned since 1984, is on track and will open on time in the summer of 2012, according to the Parks Department in an article by The Brooklyn Paper.
The conversion is a $50 million project, the most important in New York City. The project is funded by the city.
