A 16-year-old Brooklyn girl has filed a lawsuit against the city seeking compensation after she was wounded by a bullet from a cop’s gun, and will never walk again, the New York Post reports. Kamesha Williams was accidentally shot in May 2009 by a friend who was playing around with his father’s gun. The father is allegedly an NYPD cop, however his son has not identified him.
