The Pulp & The Bean coffee shop has raised the caffeine bar with a 10-shot espresso, reports the NY Daily News.
Owner Tony Fisher, who drink 10 cups a day of regular coffee himself, started selling the 20-ounce drink on Tuesday. He hopes to make Brooklyn, and the East Coast, a coffee destination like Seattle or Portland.
While many locals love the new concoction, Dr. Jacob Shani, chief of cardiology at Maimonides Medical Center, told the Daily News that he does not recommend the drink and says consumers should proceed with caution.
