Governor Paterson calls for special legislative session

Governor Paterson wants the Legislature  to return for a special session on November 29, according to The Gotham Gazette because he says they have “unfinished business” to attend to, namely making more significant spending cuts to deal with the already huge budget deficit before Paterson’s term ends. The Governor says it was the legislature’s “obligation as public servants” to “complete this work.”
