A man found guilty of killing a Brooklyn man at a nightclub in PA after an argument over payment of an insurance deductible was sentenced to 15 to 40 years in a Pennsylvania prison, Insurance & Financial Advisor reports. Gene Lorenzo Davis, 25, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., stabbed Ronald Gabriel, 20, in March 2009 after fighting about who would pay the deductible for a damaged vehicle. Davis pleaded guilty in October. The Wilkes-Barre Times Leader stated that a woman loaned a car that Davis previously had been driving to Gabriel after a party she hosted. The woman told police that Gabriel was involved in a crash with the car that caused $500 in total damages. When Gabriel did not pay, Davis became upset, the woman said. “I’m sorry. I know my actions were wrong,” Davis said. “I don’t expect you to forgive me.”
