Home Brooklyn Life From Bay Ridge to Atlantic Avenue: Brooklyn’s Marathon

Kenyan long-distant runner Geoffrey Mutai set a new course record at the New York City Marathon yesterday, taking only 2 hours, 5 minutes, 6 seconds to complete the 26.2-mile run that coursed through NYC’s five boroughs. Xin Hui Lim joined in the fun and followed the iconic marathon’s Brooklyn leg from Bay Ridge, Sunset Park and Atlantic Avenue to present you with these photos of the persevering (and entertaining) runners, the enthusiastic spectators, and more.
