The former principal of Brooklyn Theatre Arts HS in Canarsie, Martin Coren, is demoted to teacher after failing to report and handle problems in the school.
Coren, who spent two years in the high school, sent an intoxicated girl back to class and stopped teachers from contacting security when students foughts, according to a New York Post report.
Coren left the school after the Department of Education launched a probe. He has since worked his way up to acting assistant principal at Aspirations Diploma Plus HS in Brooklyn.
