Brooklyn Park fire crew saved not only a house from a sofa fire, but also rescued two cats in in the Newton Avenue residence.

The crew from Engine 21 extinguished the blaze within 10 minutes. But after the owners of the house told them that there were still two cats inside, the firefighters continued with their rescue efforts, and found the stranded cats shortly after. The two felines were transported by a community service officer to a local emergency vet, reported Fox 9.
