Abdeladim El-Kebir, a Moroccan national, was indicted in federal court in Brooklyn in connection with a bomb plot, The Washington Post reports. The indictment, which was unsealed Thursday, charges that El-Kebir, 30, conspired with others to aid al-Qaida in bombing attacks. He was arrested in Germany in April, where is still being held. The Washington Post reports that it’s not clear why El-Kebir was indicted in New York, but that is where many terror investigations are handled.
