NYPD Officer Survives After Being Shot in Brooklyn

A full recovery is expected for a New York City police officer, after doctors performed emergency surgery to remove a bullet from his skull.

Officer Kevin Brennan, 29, is still listed in critical condition, but remains stable today at Bellevue Hospital. Brennan was shot while chasing a suspect near the Bushwick Houses public housing projects in Brooklyn last night.
