The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in finding two suspects who pushed an 81-year-old man onto the tracks at the Lorimer Street J platform in Brooklyn on Friday, said police. When the first suspect stole the 81-year-old’s iPhone and fled, the victim began to chase him, but the second suspect pushed him, causing him to fall onto the subway tracks, according to police. The victim was taken to Woodhull Hospital and is in stable condition.

Suspect 1  is described as a black male, 16 to 18 years-old, approximately 6 feet tall wearing a black Adidas hooded sweatshirt, black sneakers and blue jeans. Suspect 2 is described as 6 to 18 years-old, approximately 5’8, wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. Anyone with information in regards to the robbery can call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
