The arrest of gym instructor Esran Boothe for sexually abusing a 16-year-old student at at Brooklyn Academy of Science and the Environment marks the 15th arrest of a DOE staffer this year in charges ranging from sexual assault to theft. Boothe was subsequently put on desk duty. Chancellor Dennis Walcott wants him fired.
