Project Girl Performance Collective is a performance ensemble for girls ages 8 to 21 from the five boroughs. Dominique Fishback of Brooklyn has been participating since 2008, when the the non-profit was founded. The group gives these girls a chance to write and produce their own performance poetry and theater and presents on various stages throughout New York, including an impromptu performance for Brooklyn borough president Marty Markowitz and the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.
