School Bus Drivers Strike Not Unlawful, Says Labor Board

Again and again, mayor Bloomberg has said he can’t make a deal with school bus drivers and monitors because they don’t work for him. But on Friday, the National Labor Relations Board disagreed. The board said the city is, in fact, one of the drivers’ primary employers, along with the bus companies.
