Robert Daniels Trades Talent for Healthcare from The Brooklyn Ink on Vimeo.
Robert Daniels, 64, is a retired teacher and painter who trades his artistic talents for health coverage at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx. The Lincoln Art Exchange program, now in its first year, pays artists – whether painters, dancers and singers – $40 per hour worth of credits for medical care at the hospital. The artists go through an application and interview process to qualify for the program.
