Police from Carroll Gardens plans to protect the residents of 76th precinct by alerting drivers who leave electronics inside of their cars. Trying to prevent car break-ins, police officers will be sending warning pictures to the drivers who left their valuables in a visible place inside the vehicle. It is an attempt to make the neighborhood safer since last year a total of 541 people reported that thieves broke into their cars.
