Eventhough she has only been doing drag for a year, Alotta McGriddles is on the forefront of the Brooklyn drag scene. Every week, she and fellow queens, Thorgy Thor, Lady Havokk, Krystal Something-Something, Merrie Cherry, and others, host events – including Alotta Stuff, a Thursday night thrift auction at Metropolitan bar – all for the fun of the crowd. But the Long Island native’s road to the drag queen scene wasn’t all glits and glamour.
