Five men were wounded in three early-morning shootings in Crown Heights and two spots in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Three men were shot at the intersection of Marcus Harvey Boulevard and Monroe Street in Bed-Stuy at around 1:30 a.m. Another man was shot at St. John’s Place and Franklin Avenue at around 3 a.m. The four victims were brought to Kings County Hospital. A fifth man was shot on Stockton Street near Lewis Avenue at around 1:40 a.m. and was taken to Elmhurst Hospital.
