Lifetime has ordered up to 12 episodes of a Russian-American version of the popular MTV show “Jersey Shore” that will be set in Brooklyn, according to the New York Daily News.
The show, which will be called “Brighton Beach,” will take place in the Brooklyn neighborhood of the same name and will focus on southern Brooklyn’s Russian-American population. It is scheduled to air beginning next year.
The show will focus on several families and will include people from several generations. “Jersey Shore” focuses solely on young adults.
