You read right. Spike Lee, the born and raised Brooklyn filmmaker, in encouraging people to drink the special edition Absolut Brooklyn. The vodka is inspired by the borough and the bottle features a brownstone with Lee’s childhood address. The vodka is also inspired by New York City, flavored with apple after the Big Apple. Absolut plans to donate $50,000 to Habitat for Humanity to fund homes in Bedford-Stuyvesant. “We have a long history of collaborating with creative visionaries, and nobody says Brooklyn more than Spike,”Sarah Bessette, a spokeswoman for Absolut, told the Daily News.
