A Brooklyn man pleaded guilty today to orchestrating a mortgage fraud scheme that cheated banks out of more than $10 million.

According to the New York Post, Anthony Onua, 44, admitted purchasing inexpensive properties in Brooklyn and Queens and then flipped them later at higher prices. He ran the scheme with the help of attorneys, realtors, a mortgage brokers, and the owner of a title insurance firm.
