According to Alan Boyle’s Cosmic Log on msnbc.com, a Brooklyn cinematographer and his 7-year-old son successfully launched an HD video camera and iPhone in a weather balloon up 100,000 feet, capturing the curving earth and the atmospheric glow of the sky.
