Player safety has been a big discussion in football lately, especially surrounding concussions. As former players get older more and more are developing diseases that can be traced back to their time as athletes. Paul Bourlis suffered a severe concussion about a month ago, during the last game of the Brooklyn Mariners regular season. The Mariners are a minor league football team made up of regular guys with full time jobs.
