Former commissioner of the city’s Department of Environmental Protection Emily Lloyd has been appointed as the top administrator of Prospect Park, the New York Post reports. Lloyd, who officially takes over on Jan. 31, succeeds Tupper Thomas, who is retiring after 30 years as the head of Brooklyn’s largest park. Lloyd will also become the leader of the Prospect Park Alliance, co-founded by Thomas to raise funds for the park.
