Bloomberg’s Speech May Signal Presidential Run

Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s speech at Brooklyn’s Navy Yard yesterday was heavy on optimistic, plain advice on job creation, befitting for a presidential candidate, analysts say. The New York Daily News reported that Bloomberg is expected to make more speeches like this in coming months, in New York and in other states. The largely-promoted speech was given in front of media outlets like CNN, who broadcast the speech live, and NBC who is already promoting Bloomberg’s appearance on Meet the Press this Sunday. Still, Bloomberg has not officially committed to a presidential run in 2012.
