Movie lovers, this is your Super Bowl.
On Sunday night at 8 p.m., Brooklyn cinephiles will be tuning in to see the Academy Awards.
Here at the Ink, though, we’ve decided to take a different perspective, and focus on some of the most famous films that have been shot in or set in Kings County. What’s the quintessential Brooklyn movie? Where were some of the most famous Brooklyn movies filmed? And what about the cinema of years past, when neighborhood theaters provided residents with quaint locations to see the latest releases?
