Brooklyn College broke ground last week on a multipurpose athletic field for its women’s softball and men’s soccer teams.
The new field, which will also have a track for cross-country training, will replace the overused turf field that was built in 1937 and last revamped in 1975. It will meet NCAA regulations for both Division III teams and is expected to be completed next summer.
