Reverend Samuel Cruz of the Trinity Lutheran Church said that several cops were watching him and other members during a meeting.
Fifteen people gathered at Trinity to discuss issues related to Occupy Wall Street. According to Rev. Cruz, about eight police officers unnecessarily arrived at the scene, which made people feel intimidated and uncomfortable.
Although police say they only came to find out if more people were coming, since they heard a thousand people might be gathering at the church, one of the organizers said this was not true.
