Brooklyn Bridge Park Attracts Record Number of Visitors

Brooklyn Bridge Park recorded a new high in visitor count this summer with more than 60,000 visitors on an average weekend, and around 11,500 on weekdays, reported The Brooklyn Eagle.

Over the summer, the park has also included new sand volleyball clinics, exercise classes with the Dodge YMCA, kayaking program, astronomy nights and the SyFy Movies With a View series which attracted over 35,000 viewers.

Brooklyn Bridge Park will screen Brooklyn Independent Television’s (BIT’s) 25-minute documentary, New York’s Next Great Park, as part of an open house on Nov. 17.
