This weekend, Brooklyn paid homage to a classic New York tradition: the beefsteak. The organizers were two recent college grads, Derek Silverman and Andrew Dermont, who took it upon themselves to revive the all-you-can-eat-and-drink beef and beer feast. They served several hundred pounds of grilled meat with bottomless mugs of beer and no forks. The event took place in the Bell House in Gowanus on Sunday, November 8.
